| Many
people wonder how emotional issues can cause physical problems such
as migraine. |
| |
This
is because of the connection between the
subconscious
mind and the physical body. |
| |
| Although
this connection is usually unconscious, you will have experienced
it in many ways throughout your life. |
| |
| What
happens when you hear a sound in the night ? |
| |
You
feel fear – an emotion. |
| |
| What
happens in your physical body - your heart beats faster, you may begin
to sweat, your breathing becomes heavier, you experience that fear
as feelings in your body. |
| |
| When
someone gives you some bad news, don’t you immediately get a
sick feeling in your stomach. |
| |
These
are example of how your body reacts to your thoughts and emotions. |
| |
| Human
beings have in fact always been aware of this connection, we have
expressions such as being ‘heart broken’ or someone being
a ‘pain in the neck’ (or some other part of the body) |
| |
| If you
had these feelings every day, as many people with stressful lives
do, it would put a great deal of stress on your organs, possibly creating
problems such as high blood pressure, ulcers, headaches and heart
disease to name a few. |
| |
| This
also happens with unconscious feelings, the ones we are not aware
of, those feelings that the subconscious has repressed. They can affect
our bodies in a multitude of different ways and we don’t even
know that they are the cause. |
| |
Just
as your subconscious mind helped to create these
feelings it can also help you to get rid of them |
